METABOLE

Palace of Justice – Municipality of Florence (IT)
2018
Immersive and interactive installation

Metabole is a kinetic permanent sculpture, a chaotic organism that represents the aggregation of a host in a constant transformation and evolution, a faceted wave, in search of a shape.

A metabolism in constant evolution composed of a multitude of faces, elements, people. This organism is animated by light, natural element, and senses. The two spot lights hit the multifaceted surface and enlighten the surrounding environment.
The kinetic structure represents the research of equilibrium of a balance, symbol for antonomasia of impartiality, reflection, and equity.
